In the first quarter of 2025, the photography app market in Kenya saw varied performance trends among the top five Android applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights provide a closer look at downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.

Photo frame app, collage maker from Love Photo Frames experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 30.4K and decreasing to 15.3K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 85.3K mid-quarter.

X PhotoKit demonstrated consistent growth in downloads, starting at 5.7K and climbing to 24.1K by quarter's end. Active users also increased significantly, reaching 52.9K in the final week of March.

PixVerse: AI Video Generator showed a remarkable spike in downloads early in the quarter with 72.4K in mid-January, though this metric tapered off to 1.7K by March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting high at 90.5K and settling at 26.5K.
